      The Aims of the Bhaktivedanta Academy of Arts and Sciences are:

      • To create a network of communication among the members of the Academy in order to strengthen the integrity and excellence of scholarship among disciples of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

      • To encourage collaboration between members through sharing and coordination of research, resources, skills and experience so as to create a basis for future scholarship.

      • To provide a forum for association and academic exchange among members through conferences, meetings, and the publication of relevant research.

      • To further develop fields of study related to Caitanya Vaishnva scholarship in the humanities, arts and sciences.

    • Journal of Vaishnava Studies

      The Journal of Vaishnava Studies (JVS) is a biannual, interdisciplinary refereed publication dedicated to the in-depth study of the Vaishnava traditions of India, from ancient times to the present.  The journal presents the research of Vaishnava scholars and scholars of Vaishnavism, thus representing both practitioner and academic perspectives.

      ISKCON Studies is an annual, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal. Its purpose is to encourage and publish research into the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and related topics. ISKCON Studies aims to foster communication between ISKCON and its partners in dialogue. It is a forum for scholars of and within ISKCON to reflect upon the Society’s history, culture, theological expression, and development.
